Currently a graduate researcher in Collective Intelligence at the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P), Rabat, Morocco, George holds a master's degree in Big Data Engineering from Sup Management, Intercontinental University in Fes, Morocco, and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Mohammed V University - Souissi, Rabat, Morocco. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Biochemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, graduating with Second Class Honors Upper Division.     With a journey seamlessly woven through the tapestry of academia, research, and impactful healthcare initiatives, Fidelis ZUMAH is an academic trailblazer, holding a Master's degree in Collective Intelligence from Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Morocco.

  • He has an MSc and BSc in Public Health from the University of Ghana and University of Health and Allied Sciences respectively. He has over 5 years of research and professional experience in the health sector. As a Graduate Researcher at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, UM6P, Fidelis showcased his prowess in research by conducting a study on how uniquely Collective Intelligence could be applied in implementing Universal Health Care in Morocco, analyzing health policies and reviewing Randomised Controlled Trials (RCTs) evidence on non-communicable diseases in developing countries. His keen analytical skills were further honed at J-PAL, Morocco Employment Lab, where he delved into policies targeting non-communicable diseases. Fidelis has an embroidered diversity of professional experiences, ranging from his role as a Senior Public Health Officer at the University of Ghana Medical Centre Ltd to his position as an Assistant Project Manager at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. In these roles, he managed large clinical datasets, collaborated on clinical research, and collaborated on benchmarking in Collective Intelligence. He also worked with institutions, including, Marie Stopes International Ghana, SEND Ghana, and Ghana Health Service, just to mention a few. Fidelis has been a key contributor to groundbreaking research projects, including the AI and Collective Intelligence Research Project at the School of Collective Intelligence. He has contributed to several publications including data quality, evaluation of measles surveillance systems, Cholera, gestational weight gain and birth outcomes, Hepatitis B, and Safer sex negotiations in Benin. Fidelis is deeply committed to giving back to the community. As a Co-Founder of Sahty, a non-profit digital platform, sponsored an MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund Program, that leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) to recommend and match clients to healthcare and ambulance services in Morocco. He is also a Co-Founder of Apex Research Centre. At ACILAB, he is responsible for Research and Innovation. To achieve high-quality research outcomes for impact, he uniquely integrates collective intelligence  into his work.

    Certified AI Engineer by the United States Artificial Intelligence Institute, Full Stack Developer, and Project Manager with a Bachelor's degree in Statistics and a Master's degree in Collective Intelligence. Leveraging 3 years of experience as a Data scientist in both private and public sectors.

  • He is actively engaged in ML and AI projects, including an AI model using Fuzzy Logic and Analytic Hierarchy Process for industrial systems diagnosis as well as a solution to the Multi-Armed Bandit Problem (Reinforcement Learning). In his two-year role as a Health Data Scientist and Statistician at the Benin Ministry of Health, he led data collection and reporting for the national COVID-19 vaccination campaign in 2021. His responsibilities extended to applying Deep Learning for medical image classification and managing the National Health Information System, showcasing his ability to bridge academic knowledge with practical applications in AI and ML. He also had a 1 year work experience as Business analyst. At ACILAB, he is in charge of science and technology projects. Driven by a passion for innovation, he strives to make a positive impact on society through technology.
